4 days to go and countdown is on

I have been planning this family vacation for over a year and can’t believe it’s almost time for all the research to pay off :) Traveling on this trip will be Tim & Joy, Stacy, Aunt Sloane, and Harry & Diann. We will leaving Tri-cities, TN and Atlanta on Saturday, May 16 arriving Shannon, Ireland on May 17th at 6:05 am so I hope we are all able to get a good nap on the plane and stay up all day. Everyone is already begging me for mercy as they have traveled with me many times before and know that I usually have full days planned.

We will be staying in the Doolin area near the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren for two nights. We will then travel to the Dingle Peninsula for 2 nights which includes mine and Tim’s anniversary on the 20th. Next stop will be Killarney for three nights to visit the Ring of Kerry. We will finish our trip in Bansha, County Tipperary, at a cottage for 5 nights before flying home on May 29. Tim will get his first experience driving in Europe on the wrong side of the road in the wrong side of the van, so that should prove to be interesting (terrifying). I will probably be the back-up driver (even more terrifying). This is my first time doing a blog, so I hope everyone enjoys following along. I have asked Stacy to help me with the postings. We will have wi-fi in most of the places we are staying, so if we aren’t too tired will try to post updates every day or two.
